I was playing around on Photoshop for the first time the other day, and I made this. It's a bit silly, but I like it, so I thought I'd share it.

It snowed last night so I used this as an opportunity to visit my favourite place: The Wilderness. I had planned to take a photo of the sun rising, but there wasn’t much of a sun rise today, but you can see it progressively getting lighter throughout the photos. They contrast nicely with my photos of the same place during the summer (here they are). Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking at them! I decided to experiment with a slide show (a new Weebly feature I believe) so you'll be taken through all of them without having to push a button! This entry is, if the title didn't give it away, a response to the results of the survey I posted a few days ago. One of the common things that people said they enjoyed on my blog were my entries dedicated to people I know. If you do want one written about you, don't hesitate to ask me, I'll write it in a few days! But another of the thing that somebody asked me to include was drawings I had made on Paint (the computer program). The picture with today's entry is a drawing of myself that I made for some project I was working on a few months ago (which later turned out to be a waste of time), but it shows what I can do using Paint. So now you, my faithful readers, can request me to either write an entry about you or to have yourself drawn in the style of the picture below. Although, with the entries about people, I think I'll have to add the limitation that I have to have known you for over a year to be able to write a good one, but if you want to have me illustrate you with Paint, all I need is your picture, so if you want one done please let me know :) P.S. I've only had five people fill out my survey, and to you five I am very thankful :D, but could more of you please fill it out if you do read my blog!
Today was a very nice hot sunny day, as such I decided to go and take a walk in the wilderness. I took some photographs while there, here are three of the best ones. It's a very nice place. I'm glad I'm able to go there whenever I want!
So with no real idea for a blog entry today, I decided I would use this entry to show off the artistic skills of a friend of mine named Sam Reader. In my free time, aside from writing in my blog, I also write short stories. One of the characters from my short stories is Gordon Orson Dobson. The picture is of that character and was drawn by Sam Reader. Pretty good don't you think? So this is just kind of a way of thanking him for doing illustrations for me. You can find more artwork by Sam here. |
