Non Stamp Collector is a YouTuber who makes videos parodying certain sections of The Bible. Some may say that it is rude of him to attack religion like this, but I disagree; the sections from The Bible that he mentions genuinely are immoral and, as such, it is not wrong of him to treat them as such. Here's a link to his page and here's one of my favourite videos: So, that was nice wasn't it? The title may give the impression that I hate this song, but actually I quite like it. Adele has a nice voice, the instruments sound nice and it's just generally not bad. However, if you think about it, the lyrics seem to be quite immoral in a way.
"Never mind," she says, "I'll find someone like you." And then "I wish nothing but the best for you." That sounds nice, but really, it seems she's only thinking about herself and her ex and not the future someone like [them]. That someone is very unlucky really: let’s say he meets Adele they get on really well and eventually get married etc. He thinks it's because she loves him and thinks he's a good person, but actually it's because he reminds her of somebody she met years ago… So either his self-esteem is going to take quite a blow when he finds out, or he'll spend his life living a lie. Of course, maybe he'd be fine about it, and then there'd be no problem, but I don't think it's likely. The desire to find someone just like your ex as your next partner really seems like rather unhealthy behaviour, the kind of thing that leads to you buying them the same clothes your ex wore and asking them to style their hair similarly. Surely, it'd be much better to find somebody very different, because people love different people in different ways, then it won't be able to be weighed up against her ex-partner so easily and there'll be less of that moral ambiguity. And surely someone like them would just leave her as well anyway? Here's a small video featuring me and my two friends David Tubb and Oscar Taylor-Kent. It was filmed and edited this weekend by David. Enjoy. I recently made a video with my good friend David Tubb; it's about the upcoming series of Red Dwarf and lemons. Here it is, for your enjoyment: When life gives you lemons, make YouTube videos featuring them hey?
I recently found the file of an old film trailer I had to make in my first year of A Level Media Studies. Most of it was filmed in the wilderness of Corsham. The people acting in it are: Rachel Dinsdale, Sam Dodd, Davey Hamlen, Doug Hamlen, George Moore, Christian Watkins and, of course, me. Enjoy. Today I'm just going to share with you an excellent short film a friend of mine made. As the title suggests it features only one man and is also silent (aside from music) and humorous, enjoyable little romp and I hope you will like it. Also, as an added note, it’s all filmed at the Bath Spa University, so you get a little view of how nice it is there. Here's an extra video for today. My good friend Dalfino has uploaded a new song onto YouTube, so here it is. This, I think, is his best yet, it's a very good, passionate piece of work. I hope you'll enjoy it and I'm sure you will. _ About a month or so ago, my friend TülinKei (that's their pen name) wrote a blog entry (on Rainbow Kokoro, I've not posted a link to this one before, but then again, she does have about fifty seven blogs or something like that) and I really quite liked it. Basically, there were about ten YouTube videos of songs and they'd all be chosen to display her taste in music, through it I actually found quite a few songs that I now quite like so I’m going to do the same thing! Here are a few very different songs, if you listen to all of them I'm sure you'll find at least one which you'll rather like, I sure hope that you do! Did you like any of them? I've tried to link to these songs' official uploads, but they don't all have them so some of these are actually illegal uploads and will probably be deleted in the future so that'll be the explanation if one or two videos don't work for you.
